Empty Shoes

Planning for the Empty Shoes event has begun. This week long demonstration will focus on raising awareness about the number of Idaho fatalities that resulted from people not wearing their seat belts. The shoes will travel from Coeur d’Alene to Lewiston, through Boise, and then to Eastern Idaho, stopping in Twin Falls, Pocatello, and Idaho Falls. The shoes will represent individuals killed in unbelted traffic crashes in each of Idaho’s six districts.
