Member Profile
Lynette Sharp, the ISBC Co-Chair from eastern Idaho, has spent many years in the health care industry helping patients. She has seen many unnecessary deaths caused by people neglecting to wear their seat belts. Currently, she is the Director of Flight and Trauma Services at the Eastern Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, and is responsible for personnel, registration requirements, and budgeting.
Although she's not often working directly with patients, Lynette plays a large role in patient care and sees the opportunity to educate the public on seat belt safety. “There is a critical need for this information, and I want to help raise awareness throughout the state.” Her passion for the cause and willingness to make an effort on reducing deaths has helped the coalition reach more individuals and have a stronger voice on the eastern side of the state.
